Abbey Farm Caravan Park
Abbey Farm Caravan Park is open for 51 weeks of the year, and has welcomed visitors from all around the world for the last 60 years, at the town's International Musical Eisteddfod, many return regularly to meet old friends and to make new ones. We are only 1 1/2 hours drive from Birmingham, an hour from Liverpool, and Manchester. The Park at Abbey Farm is located at the foot of the famous Horseshoe Pass, surrounded by high hills and mountains, bordered by rippling streams and the ancient ruins of Valle Crusis Abbey as a centrepoint. The fast running River Dee is five minutes walk , and also the canal where you will see horse drawn boats.

Gaer Hyfryd Caravan Club Site
A simple rural site of charm and intimacy in the most breathtaking countryside, with mountains rising at your back and sheep cropping the field over the fence. It's an excellent centre if you're a walker for there's everything from a simple stroll to a serious trek over the Berwyns. Llangollen is not far away for the Eisteddfod, the Canal and Telford's bridge over the Dee, and if you're interested in gardens, you must visit the National Trust's Bodnant: it's worth the 30-mile drive to see one of Britain's greatest gardens famous for its wonderful Laburnum walk. A little closer to home is the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall - one of the seven wonders of Wales.

Ty Newydd C L
A quiet and peaceful site set within open countryside. Ty Newydd is a small farm in the village of Llangwm, situated approx 1 mile off the A5, and approx 9 miles from the popular market town of Bala and 17 miles from Betws y Coed. The site is very central to all the popular North Wales tourist sites and ideal for those wishing to visit Snowdonia, the coast and the border counties.

Within easy reach of North Wales and North West England. Llangollen has numerous attractions ranging from a Victorian School Museum to the Doctor Who Exhibition. Each Winter the River Dee is the destination for adventurous canoeists who make their way to the town each Winter for the Slalom Competitions. Llangollen also has an excellent restored Steam Railway that runs from the town to Carrog. Steam trains run daily throughout the tourist season.
There are Leisure Facilities including a Tropical Swimming pool along with Wave maker, just 5 miles distant towards Wrexham. Wern Isaf is an is an ideal centre for touring North Wales, Chester and the North West.

Caer Mynydd Caravan Park
This is a small select site above Denbigh with beautiful views of the Clwydian Range. Medieval Denbigh is 4 miles away and the market town of Ruthin is 6 miles.
The breathtaking lake Brenig with fishing, water sports, picnics and walking 7 miles away in Forestry Commission land. The lake is accessed across Denbigh moors.
July 2000 saw the arrival of Kath and Alan Welch to Caer Mynydd when the owners retires. Since the early seventies Mrs D. Davies ran the site while her husband farmed the land around the site.
The site was ready for new ideas, but retaining the country atmosphere. Planning has been given for a toilet block, roadway and landscaping, work will be underway in time for 2002.
Caer Mynydd is situated up a steep hill at the junction with the hamlet Saron. There are no shops in Saron and the nearest pub is approximately 3 miles away in Cyffylliog.
The sky at night is wonderful up here more stars than you have ever seen. Rhyl is about 15 miles away for the beach, fun fair and night life, go there and come back to the peace and quiet of Saron. St Asaph with it's beautiful cathedral, tweed mill factory outlet, pubs and eating places is just below Denbigh on the way to Rhyl.

Carrog Station Camp Site
This quiet, level site is just seven miles from Llangollen, and is adjacent to the restored Carrog Steam Railway Station and close to the beautiful River Dee. A short walk across the 15th century bridge is the Grouse Inn, serving food all day. Llangollen Steam Railway has a regular service from Carrog to Llangollen where there are many tourist attractions.
Station Camp Site is part of Pen-y-Bont farm, which is run in an environmentally friendly way. Please help the conservation of this beautiful area by not dropping litter or disturbing any plant life.
Please separate your litter into our bottle, newspaper and can containers. Please do not put liquids or disposable barbeques in the bin bags.
