Well, look no further!

Mossyard Caravan & Camping Site
Mossyard, home of the McConchie Family for three generations, is a Scottish Tourist Board 4 Star Caravan and Camping Park situated on a working farm on the Scottish Coast. Mossyard also boasts excellent self-catering cottages and chalets with everything you need for a relaxing break. The short drive (800yards) off the A75 Dumfries to Stranraer road, four miles west of Gatehouse of Fleet, opens a whole new world of tranquillity.
Mossyard commands magnificent views over Fleet Bay and the Murray Isles with the beautiful backdrop of the Galloway Hills. It's geographical location at the mouth of the Fleet estuary means swimming is possible at all stages of the tide, of the three beaches at Mossyard, one shelves steeply and allows for boating, while the other two are shallower, allowing very safe bathing conditions. Fleet Bay has enjoyed a reputation for safe boating and watersports for many generations.
Dumfries and Galloway has many attractions for visitors from the coastline to forest parks and hills. It's relaxed villages and bustling small towns offer shopping, fine eating places and a wide range of visitor attractions. The extraordinary quality of light on the Solway has drawn artists and photographers to this area for many years, along with those who seek out this quiet corner of Scotland for it's unspoilt beauty and peace. It is a haven for wildlife and wildflowers grow in abundance in spring, notably bluebells which blanket the Galloway woodlands with rich lilac hues in May.
Whether you are interested in outdoor pursuits and activities or simply want to enjoy the peace and beauty of the countryside, Mossyard and the surrounding area has something for everyone. The McConchie family pride themselves in maintaining high standards not only in the appearance of Mossyard but also in their personal approach, which they hope makes their visitors' stay a very special and unforgetable experience.
