Bala lake is four and a half miles long (Llyn Tegid) and popular for water sports. Bala lake's narrow train follows the lake shore and is good way to enjoy the lake and scenery. You will find a warm Welsh welcome in the town where you can enjoy good meals fine Ales, and of course browse the shops. For those who wish to tour further you couldn't fine a better base, Caernarfon , Betws-y-Coed, Anglesey. Port Merion, and the Castles of North Wales are all within easy reach.

Trem-Y-Mor, a family camp site, is situated in the village of Sarn Bach, approximately 1 mile from Abersoch, and is one of the nearest touring sites to the beach.

Trem-Y-Mor, meaning "View of the Sea", was previously called "Seaview".

The site has a fully centrally-heated shower block with luxury hot showers, separate screened washing cubicles with power sockets for men and women, abundant hot water, hand dryers and hair dryer appliances, a baby changing area and a well- equipped laundry. There is a food preparation room and also a covered range of sink units for washing-up.

There are also external areas for wet-suit washing and boat washing down. Electric hook-ups for caravans are standard throughout the site.

The upper part of the site is designated for recreational use only.

Well-behaved pets are welcome.

Wales is a land of history, scenery, castles, culture and song. Blaen Cefn is ideally located for touring the Lleyn Peninsula, Snowdonia National Park, the Isle of Anglesey and North Wales generally. There are many good sandy beaches for safe bathing, surfing and boating, sits to see and places to visit.

Wales is renowned for it Narrow Gauge Railways. Not only can these railways be enjoyable to ride on, they can also be a means of transport to sights and attractions. The Ffestiniog Railway runs through the grounds of Blaen Cefn Park.

From Blaen Cefn there are miles of nature walks. Snowdon with its rack and pinion railway providing an easy way of climbing to the top, for those who do not wish to walk. Visit the Padarn Country Park, have a picnic, walk the nature trails, enjoy the scenery. See the Gloddfa Ganol Slate Mine in Blaenau Ffestiniog, walk the enormous caverns that were blasted out by miners working by candlelight, visit the craft shop.

The park is family run with both Welsh and English spoken, a warm and friendly welcome will always greet you. Separated into Touring and Camping areas, the site is very well equiped and the grounds tastefully landscaped. The cleanliness of the park has been awarded special commendation. The touring and camping park provides facilities throughout spring and summer (1st March to late November, weather permitting). There are 26 touring pitches including four level hard standings for motor homes, all with electrical outlets.

The toilet block has flush toilets, thermostatically controlled showers, wash basins with hot and cold water and shaving and hair dryer points.

Our separate camping area has pitches for up to ten tents with power outlets on two pitches.

We have a laundry and tourist information point available for use by all guests, a small convenience shop at reception and a Calor and Camping Gas exchange.
