Resipole Caravan & Camping Park

For a special holiday where you can relax and unwind, Resipole is just the place to enjoy the peace, the silence and the stunning views. On the Ardnamurchan peninsula, in the Scottish Highlands our comfortable accommodation will ease away the stresses of modern living.

Take a walk through the ancient Sunart Oakwoods which have been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. This is one of the few areas where the Ancient Caledonian Oak Forest still remain.

Climb the hills out to the summit of Beinn Resipol (a Corbett, 845m), enjoy the spectacular views out to Skye, the Inner and Outer Hebrides and over to Ben Nevis.

There are many opportunities to fish, explore the sandy beaches and ancient ruined castles, and breath in wonderfully unpolluted air. Otters, seals, red deer, pine martens, eagles, they are all here, right on the farm. Take a boat and discover the coastline of Loch Sunart with the many types of wildlife to be found there.

Resipole, being centrally positioned, is ideally placed for exploring this wonderful, rugged and remote peninsula.

If you are a regular visitor to Ardnamurchan you will know what make this peninsula so special, but if you haven't been before, and you love walking and wild life, the wide open spaces, the freedom and peacefulness the area has to offer, then be prepared to be drawn back ~ time and again.

Linnhe Lochside Holidays

Where better to spend part of your touring or camping holiday in the Scottish Highlands?

Overlooking the loch with free fishing just yards from your accommodation our touring park is one of the best. If you're not into fishing you could explore the beautiful gardens or relax and soak up the scenery. Maybe you'll see one of our local seals or otters. If you fancy something more active there's plenty to try out in the area including horse riding, ice wall climbing, skiing, canoeing.

For the kids theres the Harry Potter train, 2 play areas and a toddlers play room, not to mention the beach. Day trips with the kids could include the silver sands of Morar, seal rescue centre or boat trip, the cable car at Nevis Range, the soft play at the Nevis Centre the Crofting activity centre and wildlife park at Kincraig or the Forest Theme Park at Landmark or go Karting. The only problem is which to try first!

TOURING PITCHES With a 10A EEC connection all are individually marked, level, approximately 9m wide and have gravel hard standing. Steel pegs will be required for awnings. Awnings should not be used as sleeping accommodation.

CAMPING PITCHES 1 -4 person tents up to 2.5 x 4 m only as we have fairly small camping areas. Cars are parked nearby, not on the grass. We regret that electric hook-ups are not available .

Excellent heated washing facilities, private cubicles and a choice of either showers (with unlimited free hot water) or baths. Dish washing room and new waste dump point for motorcaravans.
