Gairlochy Holiday Park

Gairlochy Holiday Park is situated near Spean Bridge at the south end of the Great Glen, on the B8004 between the Commando Memorial on the A82 and the Caledonian Canal. The canal is ten minutes walk and this is where you can join the Great Glen Mountain Bike Trail or the Great Glen Way if you wish. Loch Lochy is approximately ten minutes walk and free fishing is available.

The Nevis Range gondola and ski development is a ten minute drive from the holiday park and you can reach Fort William in under twenty minutes drive where you will find a fully equipped leisure centre with swimming pool, squash courts, sauna, and climbing wall. The Nevis Centre also offers ten pin bowling, snooker and varied concerts.

Day trips are also a firm favourite with our visitors. Our central location near Spean Bridge makes it possible to reach Skye, Mallaig, Inverness, Oban and Aviemore in just over an hours drive. For those with a little more time, there are countless quiet peaceful glens and byroads to be explored at your leisure. Mountain climbing and walking must not be forgotten, with a choice of various heights to cater for the gentle walk, climbing the highest mountain in Britain or bagging a few Munroes.

Rothiemurchus Camp & Caravan Park

Set amongst towering Caledonian pine trees, this tranquil park offers sheltered camping in a unique wilderness setting.

Come and enjoy a wild camping experience but with the added bonus of modern facilities. There are camping areas in distinctly different locations, a high level area set in the tall indigenous pines, one adjacent to the fast flowing Am Beanaidh burn that flows through the park, and one situated on an island where the burn splits.

There is a superb heated amenity building with toilets, showers and a dishwashing area, plus a separate launderette. Try the many cycling and walking trails in this area of outstanding natural beauty close to the Cairngorms, or you may prefer to just simply relax and get away from it all, whilst enjoying watching the exceptional wildlife in this beautiful setting.

The site was under new management from 1st October 2007 and we offer a warm welcome - but sorry we don't accept dogs in the camping area.

NEW for 2008 - 'Midge eaters' at the camp and caravan site
We are delighted to say that we have had 3 new 'midge eaters' installed at the camp and caravan park to help you stay as 'bite free' as possible during your visit.
