Strathclyde Country Park

The Caravan and Camping Park at Strathclyde Country Park has attractions that make it unique in Scotland. Craigendmuir Park

"UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT" Craigendmuir Park is conveniently situated on the doorstep of Glasgow, just off the A80, one of Scotland's main arterial routes to the North. The Park is also easily accessed by those without motor transport, by rail and by bus from Glasgow.
The level and spacious site is ideal for anyone looking for the ideal base for a holiday in and around West Central Scotland, or as a stopover for a few days whilst touring.
Craigendmuir Park had been a family concern for over 20 years with the previous owners. The park was bought by another family in 2004 and they are now in the process of upgrading the park to a high standard. John, Ivan and their staff look forward to welcoming you personally.

'Where the City meets the country' almost perfectly describes the attributes of Craigendmuir Park. Although located in North Lanarkshire, the vibrant and exciting City of Glasgow is within easy reach - by bus, rail or car. For those looking for something more active, the Time Capsule, a water and ice experience, plus Strathclyde Country Park, Scotland's first theme park are nearby attractions.

Craigendmuir Park's touring caravan and camping areas are of the highest standard. For caravans, we offer hardstand or grass areas, both fully equipped with electric hook-up. Facilities on-site are modern, clean and well maintained. Two sets of well equipped toilets and shower blocks feature showers, constant hot water, hairdryer and shaver points. Drinking water taps are situated around the Park for convenience.
The launderette has all washing and drying facilities, necessary during your stay. Additionally, there are
chemical toilet disposal points, disabled toilets, dishwashing sinks and a payphone.
For those who wish to cater for themselves, the on-site, well-stocked shop offers groceries and calor and camping gas. Should you prefer, there is a wide selection of hotels and restaurants, including Italian, Chinese and Indian, all within a 2 mile radius of the Park.
