Whittlebury Park is the closest campsite to the world famous silverstone curcuit with the best facilities in the area.

Whittlebury Park Golf & Country Club is set in over 600 acres of picturesque parkland, designated a site of special landscape beauty with magnificent oaks that are hundreds of years old, and over a dozen fresh water lakes.

We are situated next to the world famous Silverstone Racing Circuit and have our own private paths into the circuit, being the closest campsite to the circuit our regular guests have been enjoying our facilities for many years.

This is a tranquil, open meadowland site surrounded by woodland where you can walk freely, watch birds and deer and enjoy a profusion of wild flowers. Stamford is the nearest town, one of the most perfect stone towns in England with a long history and many important medieval buildings; BBC's Middlemarch was filmed here. You can cruise on the Rutland Belle or choose to walk along the 27 Miles of Rutland Water shoreline; there are cycling paths and forest walks from the site entrance. Visit Red Kites at Rockingham, a scheme introduced by the RSPB, Forestry Commission and English Heritage to introduce Red Kites to Fineshades Woods. With Peterborough and the Fens in easy reach, there are plenty of interesting visits in this out of the way part of England. For garden lovers, don't forget to visit Barnsdale Gardens at Oakham, Geoff Hamilton's horticultural legacy which he left for us all to enjoy.

Grendon Lakes is set in 150 acres of beautiful unspoilt Northamptonshire countryside, and is so little known as yet in Northamptonshire it is said to be the county's best kept secret.

Within Grendon Lakes complex are 12 lakes, 2 of which are devoted to watersports the remaining 10 making up some of the finest fishing water in the area. We are also home to Hostile Fire the midlands premier paintball site.

Our Alpine clubhouse overlooks our main watersports lake and houses two bars, a restaurant, comfortable lounge, sauna, toilets, showers and changing rooms. It stands just up from the bank from the lake, bordered with lawn and patio areas. There can be no better place to relax and unwind, whilst enjoying the picturesque views and sunset. Grendon Lakes has been in the hands of the Bevington Family since 1993, since that time has matured with the family, creating its unique laid back atmosphere. An oasis of calm in today's busy world.

The possibilities of the site are endless. We can accommodate corporate days, weddings, birthday parties, stag and hen days and all other celebrations. Events from 10 to 2000 people. In the past we have played host to the national and local Triathlon events, Live2Ride, Air 05, jet ski racing weekends and can count Sky Television and British Gas as valued corporate customers.

Welcome to Hamilton Fields an ideal location for those wanting to stay in a quiet campsite that's close to the home of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Hamilton Fields will be staffed 24 hours a day during the event.

You are more than welcome to have a BBQ - just be fire and safety conscious.

Hamilton Fields are probably not for those wishing to party all night!! The disco and fun fair are situated by the main entrance to the Silverstone circuit; which is a 20 minute walk away.

Parking

We have on site parking for over 1,000 cars; probably just as quick to walk from Hamilton Fields as it is to sit in the queue on the A413.
