Maragowan Caravan Club Site

The site is an ideal family holiday base, set on one bank of the River Lochay, and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of the little holiday town of Killin. There's all the ingredients of a marvellous outdoor holiday in and around the site. You can fish in the river on site without a permit; (paddling, swimming or boating are not advised as water levels can change rapidly and without warning), or if you want to be more ambitious, there are water-sports centres at both Lochearnhead and at Kenmore on Loch Tay. Walkers will find plenty to challenge them and for the energetic, mountain bikes can be hired in the village. Even if you're car-bound you can still enjoy the scenery by driving up some of the glens, keeping an eye open for the huge range of wildlife which abounds here.

Witches Craig Caravan Park

The park is an attractive and exceptionally well-maintained touring park right in the heart of Braveheart Country. This friendly and scenic park is overlooked by the historic Wallace Monument while the Ochil Hills dramatically ascend from the rear of the park and stretch eastward as far as the eye can see. The park is a family run business and Alistair, Veda and Veda Jane's dedication to quality is testified to by the accolade of being graded 'Exceptional' and Runner-up for the 2003 Best Touring Park in Scotland. The park was also listed in Britain's top 50 Touring Parks by the readers of Caravan Life and is a regional winner of Practical Caravan Top 100 Parks for 2006 and 2007. Other awards include the Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award and 'Loo of the Year'. This said, the parks greatest commendation is the number of satisfied customers who return year after year.

Caravans, motorhomes and tents are welcome during the months of April - October inclusive. The park facilities include a heated toilet and shower block, a separate disabled toilet and shower room, laundry and dishwashing facilities. There is also a play area for children.
