Alderstead Heath Caravan Club Site

Alderstead Heath has a picturesque setting and is ideal for a relaxing break. Surrounded by rolling wooded countryside, all pitches are level. Situated on the Pilgrims Way, there are many walks across the North Downs to enjoy. Its proximity to London makes this an obvious and delightful base to explore the capital (35 mins from Redhill). It's also an ideal base for exploring much of Sussex, Kent and Surrey. Day trips to choose from include family theme parks, National Trust properties such as Chartwell, gardens and several racecourses - all within easy driving distance. Denbies Wine Estate at Dorking is both informative and fun for all the family.

The campsite is in a very pleasant parkland setting right within yards of the picturesque Thames. There is a central play area where children can play on the equipment or sandpit but note children are not allowed to cycle within the campsite and cars are parked away from the tents. The modern amenity block is offers a good supply of free HOT water and there are coin operated washing machines. Mellow Farm

Mellow Farm is a small, family farm of 110 hectares on the beautiful Hampshire-Surrey border and is centred on the River Wey. It is set on sandy heathland and is either grassland or small wooded areas.

The farm itself produces turf, hay, and has a few cattle, but also several small traditional businesses, including a blacksmith in a forge that has been there since at least 1566!

We offer several activities on site, such as an assault course, canoeing, abseiling and archery. We are close to Alice Holt Forest visitor centre and there is extensive walking on the heathland that stretches from Frensham Common through Elstead to Hindhead.

We have several rooms for hire for wedding receptions, conferences and parties. We have a good camp site for a family holiday or trip.

We welcome visitors for any length of time from a single day, a weekend or a whole week.

There are two campsites available within the grounds of Mellow Farm; both close to the river and both with altar fires.

The primary campsite, the front meadow, has access to a shower and toilet block, BBQ area and also the Chicken Shed.

The Chicken Shed has cooking facilities and can be used for dining, indoor activities and so on. This site has good facilities for disabled campers

The Huntingford Meadow camp site has access to a shower and toilet.
