This slightly sloping site has one of the best views on the network, for it's perched on a grassy clifftop overlooking the Lighthouse on St Mary's Island, a local nature reserve with a bird population of national importance. Whitley Bay is a traditional holiday resort with all the fun of the seaside including a superb sandy beach and indoor leisure pool. The Metro and local buses will take you directly into Newcastle's city centre for shopping in Eldon Square. Cross the River Tyne to Gateshead and discover the Metro Centre, Europe's largest indoor shopping centre with restaurants, cinemas and entertainment facilities.

No outfits over 28ft can be accommodated. It is essential to advise whether an awning or non-awning pitch is required when booking. Pitches comprise only mini hardstandings and there is only a small Late Night Arrivals Area.
